Addressing at CITI Sustainability Awards 2024-25 on 17th Feb. 2025, Hon'ble Pabitra Margherita, Minister of State for the Ministry of Textiles, stated that on behalf of the Ministry, I thank everyone for making Bharat Tex 2025 a resounding success.

The event was a triumph with over 1 lakh attendees, 5,000+ group activities, and 6,000 international buyers. We were also honored by the Prime Minister's presence, who challenged us to triple the textile industry's volume by 2030. The ministry pledges its support in achieving this goal under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Param Adityanath.

Textiles Minister to inaugurate Bharat Tex 2025

Second edition of Bharat Tex will focus on sustainable products.

The Union Minister for Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, will be inaugurating the second edition of Bharat Tex 2025 in presence of a large number of dignitaries and international buyers at Expo Mart Greater Noida on 12th February 2025. Following the resounding success of the inaugural Bharat Tex held in February 2024,  the upcoming edition promises to be even more impactful.

Bharat Tex 2025 is poised to bring business opportunities and strategic partnerships to the forefront.

Union Budget enhances global competitiveness for textile industry – SIMA.

The textile industry is the second largest employment provider of the nation, next only to agriculture that provides jobs predominantly to rural masses especially women to the tune of 110 million and the Government has set a vision of increasing the textile business size from the current level of USD 162 billion to USD 350 billion and the exports from the level of USD 35 billion to USD 100 billion by 2030.

The NDA Government led by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi having set a vision of 5Fs (Farm – Fibre – Factory – Fashion – Foreign) has been taking several pathbreaking initiatives to enhance the global competitiveness by addressing the structural issues.
