During October 2024 Textile exports increased by 11.56%, while apparel exports grew significantly by 35.06% compared to October 2023. 

So against the backdrop, the audacity of hope and audacity of action with synchronized policies of monetary and fiscal has helped India as one of the best-performing economies globally so it does not come as a surprise to anyone given the global export numbers.

CITI anticipates boost in India-USA Textile trade with Trump’s election

The Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) welcomes the election of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States, and anticipates that it will bolster India's textile and apparel (T&A) trade with its largest international market. In 2023, the U.S. accounted for approximately 27% of India’s total T&A exports, underscoring its crucial role in the industry’s global reach.
