It's my privilege to be here at the launch of the third Bharat Tex Trade Fair (BTTF)—the one and only event of its kind, as my colleague and the co-chair of the biotechs have already noted.
Let me begin by congratulating the industry for demonstrating tremendous grit and resilience amid global challenges. We've turned these headwinds into an opportunity to showcase India's resilience, our textiles' advantages, and our inherent strengths. Despite all kinds of obstacles this year, we've held our ground, moved forward, diversified into new markets, and are now poised to leverage the benefits of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
No need to repeat how grand a success the previous Bharat Tex edition was. It embodied the integrated 5F vision—Farm to Fibre to Fabric to Fashion to Fusion—envisioned and continuously guided by the Honorable Prime Minister's thoughts on
India's strategic global leadership across key areas. This edition stands particularly for textiles: it's a textile fair like no other, demonstrating the quantity and quality of Indian textiles collectively. It exhibits the scale, speed, and shakti (power) of Indian textiles in a way unmatched by any other event.
It brings together a large number of exhibitors and producers from across the country, showcasing the strength and diversity of all our textile clusters. It puts MSMEs at the forefront, enabling them to engage with global audiences and secure market expansions worldwide.
I'm happy to inform you that this year, we're at a single venue—unlike the two venues last year—which will further amplify our collective strengths alongside handicrafts. States like Madhya Pradesh have already been announced as the state partner by the Chief Minister in the presence of the Honorable Minister at the National Conference of Textile Ministers of India. We're looking forward to other states joining as sponsors, and they will continue to pour in.
This is the launch program, and we're also happy to announce that the Honorable Minister will lead certain delegations in the coming months. We hope BTTF warms up to roadshows not just across the country but worldwide, attracting top sources and representatives to procure more from India.
Now is the time to buckle up—not slow down, but bulge up! It's time to showcase our best products, diversify into new markets and products, and demonstrate the finest of Bharat Textiles.
Congratulations to all—we're poised for this success. And once again, kudos to the co-chair and his team for taking on this onerous task amid very sharp and hard global headwinds. Now, with secured FTAs and many more advantages, I'm sure we'll climb to new heights.
