The continuation of the interest equalization scheme, the removal of Sec43B (H) of the IT Act, Simplification of imports of trims and embellishments under the IGCR (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate) procedure, Exemption of customs duty on imports of garmenting machinery, the Green Transformation Scheme for upgrading ESG infrastructure, etc. are major demands of the apparel industry from the Union Budget 2025.

Visitors will also be invited to attend three full days of seminars on the Source Catwalk Stage, covering a wide range of subject matters, including conversations around circularity and sustainability, advice on the latest legislations and certifications, and discussions with some of the biggest names in the industry.

The Kingpins Hong Kong Pop-Up show kicked off on November 21-22, 2024, at the HKDC Design and Fashion Centre in Hong Kong’s Kowloon district, featuring 25 odd exhibitors from Asia, Europe, and the United States. well programmed & interestingly designed for both business and consumer audiences, it also includes "a pop-up fashion show." This is the 2nd Kingpins edition.
