Addressing the CITI Sustainability Awards 2024-25 on 17th Feb. 2025, Prajakta Verma IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, stated that on behalf of the Ministry, this is the second year CITI is recognizing leaders in textile sustainability and circularity. Our relationship with CITI began through the Textile Advisory Group, chaired by the Minister of Textiles, where stakeholders collaborated.

This led to a unique public-private partnership between the Agriculture Ministry, the Ministry of Textiles, and CITI, focusing on HDPS and closer spacing.

Bharat Tex 2025 which is currently underway and will have its last date today @ Pragati Maidan, New Delhi (India), had the Honorable PM visiting the 2nd half yesterday, dated 16th Feb., 2025, in the 2nd half of the exhibition and made an impressive address to boost global community interest and faith in the brand Textile India.
Narendra Modi stated Bharat Tex is becoming a strong platform for engagement, collaboration, and partnership for the policymakers, CEOs, and industry leaders worldwide.".

Resounding success of first two days of Bharat Tex 2025 at the Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi  
Bharat Tex 2025 commenced on a grand note at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, with the Hon’ble Minister of Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh visiting the event along with the Hon’ble Minister of State for Textiles Shri Pabitra Margherita, Secretary of Textiles Smt Neelam Shami Rao, and other distinguished dignitaries. The much awaited event, which brings together key stakeholders from the textile industry, kicked off with a strong emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and global collaborations.

INDIA SOURCING CONCLAVE (ISC) 12th to 15th February 2025, organized by Buying Agents Association

(BAA), has an exhibition as well as knowledge seminars discussing ESG in Global Trade. The conclave is being organized with the aim of finding ways to further promote and boost India's merchandise exports. The show is co-located with the Bharat Tex at India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML), Noida (Delhi-NCR), India.

It is being hosted by the BAA (Buying Agents Association).
