S.A.G – sustainability action guidance LLP Corporate Sustainability Reporting/ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting is an effort to systematically disclose an organisation’s activities, commitments, targets, and their fulfilment towards environmental, social, and governance issues based on a recognised framework and standards.
GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) issued sustainability reporting standards, including sector-specific standards, which are widely used around the world.
Sustainability is no longer a choice for the textile industry; it's mandatory. Recognizing this, Bharat Tex 2025 is set to prioritize showcasing circularity and sustainability as cornerstones.
The event will serve as a great initiative for the industry stakeholders to collaborate, harnessing engagement/cooperation and action to integrate sustainable practices across the long textile value chain. By emphasizing sustainable innovations, circular economy models, and ethical, responsible sourcing, Bharat Tex 2025 as a noble cause aims to balance economic growth with environmental responsibility.
India's textile sector is a vital economic pillar, employing millions and driving exports, and is a great example of the "Make in India" vision of our Hon'ble PM, Narendra Modi. While rapid growth has brought environmental challenges, the industry is embracing a sustainable future.

The 3rd edition of the Global Textile Technology & Engineering Show (GTTES 2025) Mega Exhibition Post Covid will be held from 21st–23rd February 2025 at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai.

The Liva Protégé Textiles Design Competition, a pioneering initiative by Birla Cellulose in collaboration with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), culminated in a grand finale at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The event celebrated the creativity and innovation of 15 student finalists from NIFT centres across India, showcasing their designs in Surface Design, Woven Design, and Print Design categories.
